Real estate agents are those who manage, rent and sell property as a profession. They are the ones that act as the middlemen between a seller and a buyer. The seller has to pay the estate agent a percentage of the total sales price when the property is sold. This is how the real estate agents make money.
When it comes to renting or letting, the agent draws up the contracts and in return the landlord or the property owner has to pay them. Also, the agents make money from the tenants after they have find the tenants the property they want. An ordinary day of a real estate agent involves meeting with the sellers and buyers, showing properties to various buyers and so on. They are also responsible for marketing of properties as well as handling all the administrative work.
